Can You Defend Me in Another State?

The attorneys of our office, although there are several who are licensed in more than one state, generally speaking we focus our practice within the territorial boundaries of North Carolina. North Carolina has one hundred different counties. It doesn't mean we have a hundred different courthouses. Sometimes the counties join together in courthouses. We limit our practice to the state of North Carolina.

If you're charging with driving while impaired we’ll be more than willing to give you a referral to another attorney, another competent attorney, in one of the surrounding states. We belong to professional associations so we're aware of other attorneys’ credentials. We’ll be more than willing to talk with you and maybe give you some insight as to how an out of state conviction could affect you here in North Carolina. We’ll do that for free. I do encourage you to call, to ask questions, and to get a referral from us so to make sure you get an attorney who can help you out in an appropriate fashion.
